Booklets with at least 50 examples have been created and you are most welcome to use the material. Schools, who participate in my mathematics challenges, can use the pages to prepare the pupils for the events.
In the Junior versions the totals are not greater than 250
THE SIMPLE RULES OF COUNTDOWN NUMBER GAME
- Using some or all of the numbers create an equation to equal the figure in the shaded cells
- Numbers cannot be used twice unless they appear more than once.
- Only the simple operations of addition, multiplication, subtraction and division can be used.
- There is no rule on the order the solution is found as long as the working is clear to read.
