LIST OF POSSIBLE ACTIVITIES

At each station the young mathematicians have to try and complete five problems in eight minutes.

MYSTERY NUMBERS

Clues are given and the young mathematicians have to discover what the value is:

“I think of a number, double it and add 10. My answer is 22. What is the number?”

THE CORRECT ORDER

Given instructions the young mathematicians have to order the numbers given.

• The four is higher than the two.
• None of the numbers are in their respective places.
• The top number and the bottom number add up to five.

FIND THE VALUES

A grid of numbers will be displayed and the young mathematicians have to solve the addition sums using the numbers in the grid. The values can only be used once.
